Haven’t received product

I had low expectations and wanted something to cover my oxidized scoop until I can paint it while I do some other body work. Admittedly the first one I ordered I butchered during install. The second one was a breeze once I took my time. Probably took about 20 minutes total. It looks amazing and was really easy to work with. Super fast shipping and painless transaction.

A buddy put one of these but a different brand and shape with on a same year and color hatch as mine and I thought it only looked OK. However pleased to say this looks amazing! The design is very well thought out and does an excellent job of blending in and giving the illusion of a bigger and deeper hood scoop. Kind of a PITA to install but only because I’ve never done something like this before. Once I got in the groove it was on in minutes. Definitely get a heat gun and use a spray detailer or something to liberally lubricate the surface and back of the vinyl. Then hold it by the sharp edges and droop it in front of the scoop (towards the front of the car) and then slowly drag it back. If it’s too grippy it’s too dry. As you pull back you can line it up and adjust as necessary. Leave a little extra so you can wrap it around the edge and under. Don’t get too carried away by the heat gun or you’ll just stretch it out and ruin the shape and prolong the install. Once you have it adhered to the surface you’re done. Don’t worry about drying the underneath completely. It will not bubble. Great product and I’ll highly recommend. I went with the matte black which I think blends with the duct inside the scoop the best.
