    yellow overlay stands out

Posted by dale L. on 7th Nov 2015

I live in rural Tenn.in the foothills of the Smokies.Driving home at night is really dark and these yellow overlays define the road edge better and I believe they make me more visible to oncoming cars.Glad I bought them. Also by following the install procedure they were a snap to install

    Patience is the key!

Posted by Brian on 4th May 2015

The directions that came with the product were perfect. Along with a couple of Youtube videos of similar installations, I was able to tackle this project. The directions weren't kidding though, "Patience is the key." This was my first time installing anything like this and it took me around 40 minutes per light! It's pretty tricky to install a flat sticker onto a curved surface without getting bubbles. I spent a lot of time stretching them out using a hairdryer while applying them, but the time taken was worth it. Once installed, they look great! I installed the HID Blue and they definitely look blue in the daylight. However, at night they shine a true white color and really don't look blue at all. Pretty surprising to everyone that sees them. I installed them about a month ago and have had them on through hot days and rainy days and they seem to be fine. I've received quite a few compliments on them already. I definitely recommend these as a relatively simple mod, just remember to bring your patience!

Do not underestimate the effect of heat!

Posted by Unknown on 31st Jan 2015

The product is fine. Instructions emphasize techniques to minimize bubbles. I found that my wife's hair dryer was not stong enough to heat the cold outside air enough to be effective. So I had overlays that were stiff and wet and only glued on one edge. I ended up salvaging the project with a propane torch. I do have pretty amateurish wrinkles in the overlays. Look like crap up close but good from 10 feet. Again, I don't fault the company or the product. I am definitely happy enough with the end result and would do it again.
