2 Not what they used to be..

I bought a set of these from JDMFV in 2014 and they were the best! Fit perfectly. Stuck like glue and couldn't even tell it was a wrap. LASTED 9 YEARS without any degraded quality. Due to an accident in the front I needed to replace them. The new ones are similar to what I bought before but maybe I should have went with the exact same.. the fitment is good.. but the 2 separate pieces of vinyl were not lined up on top of each other which made a "bump" around the edges on one side.. I also cannot get the edges to lay down. they want to lift and raise where the curve of the factory emblem is which is very concerning and makes be believe they will start to peel off after a short time. I used a heat gun and it did not help with adhesion... and it does not have that seamless "OEM look"as it did with my previous ones. You can tell it is " a sticker" due to the raised edges. the colors, design, all around look itself is 5 stars.. but that does no good if they do not install as they are supposed to and adhere. I wanted these so bad to replace my old ones and was sure they would be just as good but unfortunately I was let down.

The product came as described and was easy to install. I would reccomend using some source of heat just to stretch the viynl a little, but it is absolutely not neccesary. Take your time and if you get a bubble or crease just lift that area up and try again. Great product from a great company. I reccomend that you implement a preview of all the color schemes available. I personally went with silver and WRB so I wasn't worried, but it may make a potential buyer hesitant.
