  • Dry the surface with a lint free cloth

The "DRY METHOD" will be used for this installation

Note: The "Dry Method" is used when the material used is either vehicle wrap or tint with air release properties

STEP 2:

  • Peel off the backing paper
  • With both hands position the vinyl over the emblem. Pull and stretch the vinyl over the emblem making sure to not leave any creases or wrinkles.

Note: if your emblem is precut, you will NOT need to pull or stretch as your emblem is cut precisely to size. simply line up to the edges

  • If you see wrinkles, simply lift the vinyl back up apply moderate heat (Only enough to remove the wrinkles. let film cool off) and continue to re-apply. The vinyl is very forgiving and will easily lift up and stick again

STEP 3:

  • if you see bubbles, or winkles, simply lift the vinyl back up, apply heat with a hair dryer or heat gun, let film cool off and re-apply.

Convex Emblems:

use moderate heat to help soften the vinyl.

with your fingers and a squeegee, slowly massage the film into shape working your way slowly form the center outward.

Note: the vinyl is pressure & heat sensitive and will adhere to the emblem  when pressure is applied.

STEP 4:

  • Once the vinyl is applied and all the bubbles/wrinkles have been removed, use your fingernail or a credit card type squeegee to lightly score the edge of the emblem. if you have any excess film, use an x-acto knife or razor blade to trim off excess film using the edge of the emblem as a guide
  • Slowly and carefully remove the excess vinyl

STEP 5:

Use a heat gun to post heat your newly wrapped emblem and ensure the edges do not lift up
